Bob Davis won a Celebrity Pick Award at Corvettes
At Carlisle this year. His 1994 Black Coupe was choosen
by Mike Robinson from Performance Team Program Manager.
This honor allowed Bob to particapate in the Awards
Parade during which he received his award.
Other excitement during the weekend included a massive
thunderstorm that came through late Saturday afternoon. The
storm blew down many tents, canopies, trees and knock out
power in most of the town for a majority of the night.
Luckily the club members had left the fairgrounds early
for dinner to escape the heat and none of them or their
cars were injured in the storm.
The rest of the weekend was the usual fun with some
of the members arriving on Thursday to get an early
start on all the shopping and festivities. Many more
members came Saturday to attend for just the day
which gave the club the opportunity to do a big
group dinner at a local bar and grill. It appeared
that everyone had a great time and are all
looking forward to doing it again next year.
